Today I’m happy to host Chris Karlsen and her book, Heroes Live Forever. Chris will be giving away a digital copy of her thriller, “Golden Chariot” to one randomly drawn commenter at every stop, and a $50 Amazon gift card to another randomly drawn commenter during the tour. One randomly drawn host will receive a $20 Amazon GC.
BLURB:
Elinor Hawthorne has inherited a house haunted by the ghosts of two medieval knights, Basil Manneville and Guy Guiscard. Basil is the man of her dreams, her knight in shining armor. She falls in love with him and he with her. Basil soon realizes she needs to live a normal life, a happy life with a mortal.
A lifetime later fate intervenes. Basil, still in love with Elinor, is told her spirit lives on in a young woman and he is given another chance at life to find her.

QUICK EXCERPT
Although she’d at times experienced the impression of déjà vu, the encounters left her feeling unsettled. Ian Cherlein was a stranger to her. This inexplicable, powerful sensation of familiarity for him bothered her more than the other déjà vu situations.

AUTHOR Bio and Links:
I was born and raised in Chicago. My father was a history professor and my mother was, and is, a voracious reader. I grew up with a love of history and books.
My parents also love traveling, a passion they passed onto me. I wanted to see the places I read about, see the land and monuments from the time periods that fascinated me. I’ve had the good fortune to travel extensively throughout Europe, the Near East, and North Africa.
I am a retired police detective. I spent twenty-five years in law enforcement with two different agencies. My desire to write came in my early teens. After I retired, I decided to pursue that dream.
I currently live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, four rescue dogs and a rescue horse.

Thank you for inviting me today and for the opportunity to spotlight my paranormal romance, Heroes Live Forever.
I am giving away one Smashwords coupon for my romantic thriller, Golden Chariot, to a randomly chosen commenter here. I look forward to talking to everyone.
Just a note: I will be away from my office for a brief period: 9:30 am Pacific Standard Time to approximately 12:30 in the afternoon.
Since Heroes Live Forever has two handsome ghosts haunting the heroine, let me ask how many of you believe in ghosts?

Welcome, Chris. I’ve added this book to my TBR pile – it looks great!
OOH – I’m reading to review your Golden Chariot as part of the FMB Tour – I can’t wait. Ghosts – I certainly do believe in spirits and hauntings .. I’ve been in spaces and homes where the energies were angry and reluctant to allow us to make changes until we had done the digging in to find out just what was the issue that kept them about. I also have issues with places like Stonehenge and other standing circles because they just feel ‘odd’ to me – but when I was younger they were terrifying. I’m adding this new book into my TBR pile..
I believe in ghosts, for sure. My family and I stayed in a small hotel in Bath, England and we all experienced weird happenings. Fun stuff:)
Thank you for reviewing Golden Chariot. It’s from a different series. And thank you for adding Heroes Live Forever to your TBR pile.
Chris

Hi Ruby,
I think more folks believe than don’t believe. I’ve many friends who have had strange things happen that can’t be explained away, not easily anyway:)
Chris
